Pakistan rangers target BSF posts in Akhnoor sector

Hours after the flag meeting held between the Pakistan rangers and the BSF, Pakistan has once again violated ceasefire despite assurances given in a flag meeting. Reports indicated that the Pakistan rangers have targeted a BSF Post on the Deora International Border of the Akhnoor sector in Jammu.
The violation was made in the same area of Akhnoor sector where the flag meeting was held. Now, there have been over 23 violations by Pakistan in August alone.
It appears as though the purpose of the flag meeting to diffuse the tension along the border has not been served as there has been a fresh ceasefire violation.
Reports suggest that the firing that had started off at 11pm and continued till 6am intermittently. BSF Sources said that there have been no damages reported on the Indian side so far.
