It needs to be mentioned here that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi was seen in a quite aggressive mode over the issue and launched a full-fledged attack on Narendra Modi-led government recently.
It is being said that the Congress’ move to hit out at the NDA government is a part of its strategy to make its voice heard and put pressure on the ruling dispensation at the same time.
Earlier on Tuesday, in her first direct attack on NDA government, Congress president Sonia Gandhi said there has been a steep rise in the cases of communal violence in the country under the new regime.
