TDP MP Murli Mohan's sexist remark sparks storm in Parliament

It appears to be that the MPs and political leaders nowadays are on a spree to antagonize the pubic with sexist, chauvinistic attitudes towards the issues of crime against women.

Telugu Desam Party MP Murli Mohan Maganti indulging in moral policing on Thursday invited a storm as he offered a sexist remark in Lok Sabha.

Amid the discussion on the atrocities against women in the lower house of the Parliament, the Rajahmundry MP commented that women should dress in a decorous way.

While Maganti continued to rage about how women should costume themselves, other MPs who were present in the house were listening to him silently without any objection.
