Reacting to the Maharashtra Sadan incident, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi termed the actions by Shiv Sena MPs a reflection of the ideology of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
In a shocking video a group of 11 Shiv Sena MPs is seen to have allegedly abused a Muslim catering supervisor at the Maharashtra Sadan and forced him to break his Ramzan fast and eat a chapati.
