CAG 'audits' Nitish's development claims, finds flaws

Deflating the tall claims made by erstwhile Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on improved standards of education in the state, a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report has revealed the truth about education department's blatant exaggerations over implementation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).
CAG findings tabled in the State Assembly on Tuesday brought into light the poor condition of education during Nitish Kumar's eight-year rule. The report has also revealed the dearth of infrastructure, staff and uniforms and stationary for the students.
