Safety measures in public transportation seems to be going berserk as numerous reports surface. After the Mumbai Metro leak story, now a new report has surfaced about a Delhi metro travelling with open doors.

This Delhi Metro train had its gates open as it travelled between two stations in south-west Delhi this morning.

As per reports, the gates were open for close to one minute and 25 seconds as the train travelled between Arjangarh and Ghitorni on Line-2 (HUDA City Centre to Jahangirpuri) around 9:40 am.

In a statement, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said "prima facie, it appeared an error by the train operator and he has been suspended with immediate effect."

The Train operator has been suspended as Delhi Metro automatic doors were left open on moving Metro train on Yellow Line.
