MEA issue 2 advisories, asks Indians to vacate Baghdad

Anxious family members of Indians stranded in war-torn Iraq met Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday evening and sought help to bring back their dear ones.
This is Swaraja's second meeting the family members of Indians stuck in the war-torn country.
The meeting that took place at the Ministry of External Affairs was attended by Minister of State VK Singh too.
Of the many Indian nationals working in Iraq, majority of them are from northern states of Haryana and Punjab. MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin had earlier in the day informed that the government would begin flying out Indians from Tuesday onwards.
