CBI questions WB Governor over Agusta Chopper scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation today interrogated the Governor of West Bengal in connection with the Agusta Westland VVIP helicopter scam.
CBI wanted to record the statements of Goa and West Bengal governors BV Wanchoo and MK Narayanan in the alleged swindle centred on the sale of 12 helicopters to India by the Anglo-Italian defence manufacturer, Agusta Westland.
Narayanan is on a list of governors who were appointed by the previous UPA government and the BJP wishes to replace.
