Delhi University postpones admissions

The face-off between Delhi University and the University Grants Commission over the 4-year Undergraduate Programme continues. The deadline for DU to submit its compliance report ends on Monday.

This after the UGC ordered all Delhi University colleges to conduct admissions under the three year undergraduate course, and not under the controversial 4 year system. This has led some colleges in Delhi University including St Stephens to defer their admissions procedure.

The DU Executive Council meeting scheduled for Monday morning has been postponed. A protest has been planned by the Congress's student union NSUI.
