10 kids caught in swirling waters of Damodar River rescued

All 10 students who were trapped in water released by the Tenughat Dam in Jharkhand have been rescued. On Friday, 10 school students were trapped in water flow from the Tenughat Dam. The students were caught unaware when the dam released its waters.

"When we got to know about the incident we kept our local resources ready. The expert team would have taken a lot of time to reach and since the students were stuck for long, we decided to get local trained divers to carry out the rescue operation. We successfully mamnaged to rescue the students," Bokaro DC Uma Shankar Singh said.
