Omar Abdullah hits out at Modi's PMO ministers
  • 5 years ago
On the very day of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister, a minister of state PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh has kicked off a controversy saying that the "Article 370 has harmed the state more than it has benefited."

Though he later clarified that the party has not "not deviated from" their "views of article 370."

The Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir had been granted a special autonomous status through article 370.

The state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reacted instantly to the controversy and tweeted that, "so the new MOS PMO says process/discussions to revoke Art 370 have started. Wow, that was a quick beginning. Not sure who is talking" adding that, "mark my words & save this tweet - long after Modi Govt is a distant memory either J&K won't be part of India or Art 370 will still exist."
