Manmohan Singh's farewell address to the nation

Manmohan Singh: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday addressed the nation for the last time, before he hands over his government's resignation to President Pranab Mukherjee.
In his speech, Singh thanked the people of India for allowing him to serve for 10 years, wishing the new government the very best in office. "As I leave office, my abiding memory will be the love and kindness that I have always received from you. I owe everything to this country, this great land of ours where I, an underprivileged child of Partition, was empowered enough to rise and occupy high office," he said.
