CNX Nifty touches an all-time-high of 7000

The National Stock Exchange's CNX Nifty index breached the psychologically important 7,000-mark. The BSE's 30-share S&P BSE Sensex gained 556.77 points, or 2.42%, to 23,551 points on Monday. The Nifty rose 2.27%, or 155.45 points, to 7,014.25. Nifty futures expiring 29 May closed at 7,035.75 points, a nearly 30 points premium.
