Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal began his roadshow in Varanasi where he took on both BJP's Narendra Modi and Congress's Rahul Gandhi, asking voters not to get fooled by big promises made by leaders who "appear only in helicopters." He will file his nomination for the Lok Sabha seat this afternoon.

"Both BJP and Congress are only interested in personal gains... they are spending crores on these elections, after they win they'll take that money back from you," Kejriwal charged, alleging that both the parties were using black money to fund their campaigns. Kejriwal also criticised the condition of Varanasi's infrastructure and problems faced by its residents. "The roads here are in a deplorable state; weavers are suffering; I have discussed people's problems with them in last few weeks and I have their blessings," he said.
