Twin Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh

As many as 12 people including eight civilians have reportedly lost their lives in twin Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.

Naxals ambushed a bus carrying a team of poll officials in Bijapur. There were 12 occupants in the vehicle, amongst whom six were killed in the attack. The officials were accompanied by security personnel and had started their journey from Ketulnar polling booth.

In another attack, Naxals blew up a government ambulance van killing five CRPF personnel and the driver. The incident took place in Darbha Gahti of Sukma. There were nine people in the ambulance.
