BJP's prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will file his nomination from the Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency in his home state .

Mr Modi will move to the district collectorate office for filing his nomination papers after holding a roadshow which will move through some sensitive parts of the city under a strict security cover.

Thousands of police personnel have been deployed along the four-kilometre-route which his cavalcade will follow. The Gujarat chief minister is also contesting from Varanasi constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
