The induction of the controversial former JD(U) MP Sabir Ali in the BJP set off a fresh row within the party with Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi accusing the new entrant as a friend of Indian Mujahidin commander Yasin Bhatkal.

"Terrorist Bhatkal's friend joins BJP...soon accepting Dawood...," tweeted Naqvi within hours of the entry of Sabir who was till recently seen by the saffron party as the chief marksman of the "hit squad" Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had assembled against Narendra Modi.
