Congress opens bag of 2014 goodies

The Congress on Wednesday released its manifesto for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections promising inclusive growth while countering opposition claims of misgovernance saying it fulfilled 90% of its 2009 poll promises.
Party president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh unveiled the manifesto in New Delhi.
Rahul, who had taken a personal interest in the drafting of the manifesto and met a cross-section of people including women, youth, minorities, porters, farmers and fishermen, in order to incorporate their views, said it reflects views and opinions of common people who the party consulted before building it up.
