Chandrababu Naidu to return to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance

Decks have been cleared for Chandrababu Naidu to return to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) after a 10-year gap.
Naidu, whose Telugu Desam Party (TDP) gave outside support to the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government, wants to be on the right side of Narendra Modi as the BJP makes a desperate bid to return to power after warming Opposition benches for two terms.
After Ram Vilas Paswan, Naidu will be the second former NDA ally to make up with the BJP.
Naidu, who blamed the BJP for his loss in the 2004 elections, has to win the 2014 elections to stay politically relevant. But there is a catch.
