Former BJP president Nitin Gadkari met Maharashtra Navnirmaan Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray in Mumbai on Monday ahead of 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Sources said that the meeting was kept a top secret and according to sources the meeting was also attended by state BJP president Ashish Shellar. It is said that close door discussions are taking place between the BJP and the MNS in order to persuade the latter to join NDA.
