World's largest religious mela, Khumh Mela 2019 kicks off | प्रयागराज कुंभ मेला

One of the largest religious events in India, Ardha Kumbha Mela, is scheduled to kick-start on January 15, 2019. However, the buzz around this world-famous event has been there since several months. This year, the mela is due to be held in Allahabad, also known as, Prayagraj, one of the most ancient cities of India. Unlike its former editions, the Ardha Kumbha Mela 2019 will not only have an impressive number of facilities for public convenience but it is also supposed to be more promising for the tourists.
उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रयागराज में कुंभ मेले से पहले 'पंचायती अखाड़ा निरंजनी' की भव्य पेशवाई निकली. इससे पहले जूना, अग्नि और महानिर्वाणी की भी धूमधाम से पेशवाई निकाली गई थी. जिसके बाद बैंड बाजे और हाथी, घोड़े के साथ 'पंचायती अखाड़ा निरंजनी' की पेशवाई भी शाही अंदाज़ में सड़क पर उतरी तो उसे देखने के लिए लोगों की भीड़ जुट गई निरंजनी अखाड़े की पेशवाई में हजारों साधु-संतों और नागा संन्यासियों के अलावा अखाड़े के महामंडलेश्वर भी शामिल हुए, जिनके रथ को फूलों से सजाया गया था. पेशवाई जुलूस में पैदल चल रहे नागा संन्यान्सियों का जत्था करतब दिखाते हुए आगे बढ़ रहा था.और उनके पीछे अखाड़े के भगवान कार्तिकेय की पालकी उठाये पैदल साधु चल रहे थे.
