AICC Disciplinary Committee has approved the expulsion of six Andhra Pradesh MPs with approval from the AICC President Sonia Gandhi. According to the press release, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved the decision of the disciplinary committee of AICC to expel six members of the Parliament from Andhra Pradesh with immediate effect.

Six rebel Seemandhra MPs had moved a no-confidence motion against their own party led UPA government at the Centre were suspended from the party in the current and previous Parliamnet session.
