Sexual Assault case: BB Mohanty's family refuses house search - NewsX

A day after seeking the search warrants for the house that belonged to IAS B B Mohanty a team of Jaipur police visited his Vaishali Nagar situated house at officer's campus to serve the notice. Police said it was a routine notice that did not require a summon to the IAS. However the family denied accepting it.
After a 22-year-old woman lodged an FIR against IAS officer Mohanty, accusing him of raping and sexually exploiting her for seven months after promising to help her clear the civil services examination and later marry her, police had recorded her statements and had also sealed one of the houses of the officer.
