Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal and his leaders resort to blaming media as corrupt and bribed
  • 5 years ago
Aam Aadmi Party has begun shooting the messenger, and now it's a recurrent theme. Just hours after law minister Somnath Bharti angered a persistent group of reporters on Saturday by asking one of them how much Narendra Modi had paid to ask him a question, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal used the Republic Day address to censure the media.

Bharti later "apologized", behaving like a typical politician in claiming that his remark - captured by cameras and relayed live - was "misunderstood". The CM later expressed his disapproval of Bharti's remark, saying it was "inappropriate", and advised the Press not to hound him. But he found nothing amiss in his allegation of the media being biased which he had elaborated with %anecdotes at the R-Day function earlier.

In fact, Kejriwal seemed to have resumed from where he had left when he spoke to reporters on Tuesday morning outside Rail Bhavan. After reiterating his remarks on how the media was biased and how their owners were pushing political agendas, he cited 'examples' of how biased reporting was being done.
