The Delhi Police has issued prohibitory orders against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's proposed protest outside Home Ministry on Monday.
CM Kejriwal has threatened strike in a bid to mount pressure on the Home Ministry to suspend Delhi Police officials who refused to obey Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti's diktat to frisk Ugandan women he had accused of prostitution.
Delhi Police has imposed prohibitory orders in and around Parliament House and the North and South Block in order to stop Kejriwal from holding protests. The AAP has been asked not to hold protests near these buildings as Republic Day preparations were underway.
