Delhi chief minister (CM) Arvind Kejriwal faces a security risk from desperate elements such as the water and tender mafia, which may feel threatened because of his anti-corruption policies, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has told the Delhi Police after a threat analysis of Kejriwal.

"Kerjiwal's threat comes from desperados," said a senior government official.
According to the official assessment, the threat can come from the water and tender mafia or other deeply entrenched interests in the national capital who may go out of business if Kejriwal, 45, remains steadfast on his anti-corruption agenda.
