Sharad Pawar not to contest Lok Sabha polls in 2014 - NewsX

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar said he will not contest this year's Lok Sabha elections to make way for the party's young leaders. He might vie for a Rajya Sabha seat instead, he added. "I have decided to stop. This will enable me to devote maximum time to party work. I am not averse to being in the Rajya Sabha," he said.
