PrashnaKaal: How safe are women in India

An 8-year-old girl was raped in a private school in Meerut. Another case is of a 12th class girl who was killed with a knife in Ballia of Uttar Pradesh. A fashion designer was also stalked till her apartment in Mumbai. Haryana BJP State chief Subhash Barala’s son Vikas Barala and his friend were arrested, later given bail, for misbehaving with IAS’s daughter, Varnika Kundu in Chandigarh. Vikas and his friend are under police remand currently. Another girl committed suicide in Noida because of her boyfriend.
