Coming out as a major blow to Pakistan, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified by the Supreme Court making him the only working Prime Minister to be sacked over corruption charges. After announcing the decision the court also asked the accountability court to file case against Sharif.

The verdict came in after the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) which probed the Panama Papers case against Nawaz Sharif’s family assets had recommended reopening 15 cases against Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif.
