Central government approves Rs 10 thousand crore for Uttar Pradesh infrastructure schemes

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi and also met the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
After the meeting UP CM said that the Center has assured him of converting 73 state highways into national Highways. “We have been assured 73 State Highways will be converted into National Highways”, he said.
Thanking Modi Government for clearing so many schemes, CM Yogi Adityanath added, 'this is the first time so many schemes have been cleared which include around Rs. 10,000 crore from Central Road Fund for construction of roads', he said.
