New Delhi: Rajasthan will elect a new Assembly in a single phase poll. The voting will take place on December 1 and counting will be on December 8.
Rajasthan has a total of 200 seats in the state assembly. In the previous election in 2008, the Congress had won a majority of 96 seats giving a major blow to the Vasundhara Raje Scindia led Bhartaiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state.
