A total of more than 4.66 crore voters would be exercising their franchise on 53,946 spread over 51 districts to decide whether the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get a hat-trick of wins or the Congress make a comeback to power after 10 years. A total of 2,583 candidates are in fray, including chief minister Chouhan who is contesting from Budhni and Vidisha seats.
