A day after his retiring Test match at the Wankhede stadium, Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday told reporters in Mumbai that the most important thing for him was to play for the country and these 24 years had been a dream journey.
He admitted that his body was unable to take the load of training sessions and it was the perfect time to leave the game.
