Residents of Mumbai's Campa Cola compound have refused to evacuate their houses and locked themselves inside the gates even as police has forcibly detained few of them
Only 10 out of 96 illegal flats have been vacated after SC's November 11 deadline ended.
Even Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan has refused to intervene and issue an ordinance to stop the demolition.. Chavan, however said the state is willing to rehabilitate the residents.
