The BJP and Congress spat over Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's legacy took a new turn on Tuesday, when Commerce minister Anand Sharma declined Gujarat CM and BJP PM Candidate Narendra Modi's invite to participate in the unveiling of Sardar's memorial in Ahmedabad.
He said, Patel's legacy cannot be used for electoral gains.
