In a fresh move, the Bihar government has tightened the screws further on the liquor ban in the state. The Bihar cabinet has now given its nod for a fresh amendment which will make it illegal for government and judicial officials of the Bihar state from purchasing or consuming alcohol, even they are outside the state of Bihar. The Bihar cabinet amended 'the Bihar government servants conduct rules, 1976' to effect the necessary changes.
