In a major development, AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala’s swearing-in ceremony was deferred on Monday.
It is important to note that VK Sasikala was set to take oath as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday. However, a PIL was filed in the SC on Monday seeing to restrain Sasikala from being sworn in as Tamil Nadu CM in the backdrop of cases against her by the ED and pending Supreme Court verdict in the disproportionate assets case.
