Granting a relief in the 1998 case of blackbucks poaching and the bearing of arms with an expired license, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was acquitted by the Jodhpur court on Wednesday.

While Salman was acquitted in two cases of poaching of chinkara, he was facing charges under sections 3/25 and 3/27 of the Arms Act as he was allegedly caught with firearms that had expired license.

Salman Khan, while appearing in the court on March last year, had pleaded innocence and blamed the forest department of framing him in the case.
