NewsX : N.Srinivasan cleared by Supreme Court to take charge as BCCI president

The Supreme Court on Tuesday permitted BCCI president-elect N Srinivasan to assume charge as Board president after ordering an independent probe into the IPL betting and fixing allegations by a panel headed by former Delhi HC judge Mukul Mudgal.
Srinivasan, who was elected unopposed by the BCCI AGM on September 23, 2013, was asked not to "interfere" with the working of the panel which will probe the charges of spot-fixing and betting involving two IPL teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
