Absconding KLF chief Harminder Singh Mintoo arrested in Delhi

The absconding Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) chief Harminder Singh Mintoo who went absconding yesterday from the Nabha jail in Punjab with four other gangsters was arrested on Monday from the national capital, Delhi. It was suspected that the dreaded chief of the banned outfit had been planning to cross into Nepal. However, a joint effort by the Delhi and Punjab police resulted in the capture of the KLF chief who has been prosecuted in more than three terror-related incidences. He was nabbed from near the Delhi-Haryana border. Yesterday, a 24-year-old woman in Punjab's Patiala was killed when the police opened fire on a vehicle which refused to stop for routine checking.
