Split in opposition over 'Bharat Bandh

Opposition parties seem be divided over the demonetisation issue as many key parties decided not to participate in nationwide shutdown on Monday.

While the Left parties including the CPI, CPI(ML) and many others joined the protests, parties like DMK, AIADMK, BSP, NC were absent from opposition meet at parliament held to discuss floor strategy against the government.
