Narendra Modi created a stir with his Toilets first,temples later remark. The VHP that has often eulogised Modi came out in sharp criticism. VHP leader Pravin Togadia on Thursday slammed the BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for his statement that constructing toilets should take precedence over building temples.

Togadia said that he was stunned to hear about the unnecessary mention of temples by Narendra Modi. He said It is nothing short of an insult to the Hindu society and that he expects the BJP to once again rise to the occasion and condemn the statement made by its own Prime Ministerial Candidate.
