Cabinet is likely to take up the issue at its meeting today. The issue has not been listed in the agenda but might come up for discussion at the last minute. Most of the recommendations made in the CWC resolution have been incorporated in the Cabinet note.

The note however does not speak about capital city for a new state of Andhra Pradesh. A Group of Ministers is likely to be formed which will work on the modalities of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
