Just days after the PM's meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in New York.The Manmohan Singh government is confronting yet another infiltration bid.
Five policemen were injured in heavy exchange of fire between militants and security forces in Soura area, on the outskirts of Srinagar.

The highlight of the Manmohan-sharif meeting was maintaining peace on the line of control (LoC), and DGMOs of both countries were expected to meet to figure out ways of keeping ceasefire violations down but that is not to be.The encounter erupted in Ahmadnagar locality of Soura last evening when police cordoned off the area following information about the presence of militants there.
