Arvind Kejriwal calls for emergency cabinet meet as Delhi’s air quality becomes ‘severe’

Understanding the dire consequences the worse Air Quality Index is to bring to Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has called for an emergency cabinet meet at 12:30PM on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the angry citizens of the national capital are holding protests at Jantar Mantar against the ineffectiveness of the administration to tackle the severe problem of pollution. The thick smog enveloping the whole of Delhi city has become a matter of concern and health advisories have been issued, especially for children and old age people.
