Lucknow: Scuffle at venue of Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘Vikas Rath Yatra’ function

Before the arrival of Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav at the venue of his ‘Vikas Rath Yatra’ function on Thursday, a scuffle was witnessed between the supporters of the Samajwadi Party.
Some of the workers were injured in the scuffle that took place. As per reports, supporters threw chairs at each other.
The function is being presently being attended by Akhilesh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav.
Akhilesh Yadav, from today onwards, is all set to kick-start his campaign for the upcoming UP elections in 2017.
