Fodder scam: BJP hails Lalu Prasad's conviction, Cong says law has taken its course

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday welcomed the conviction of RJD chief Lalu Prasad in the fodder scam case by a special CBI court in Ranchi while Congress said that law has taken its course.
"It is a historic judgment and a justice day for 10 crore people of Bihar," said BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
He said although the justice was delayed, it was an important decision.
"He was saving himself for last so many years by having political alliance with the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government," added Rudy.
