13-year-old Jain girl dies after family makes her fast for 68 days

In an extremely shocking incident a 13-year-old girl from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh took her last breath after 68 days of fasting during the Jain holy period called Chaumasa.
As per reports, the girl named Aradhana was admitted to a hospital two days after she finished her 68 days fast but later died of cardiac arrest.
Hailing her as a 'bal tapasvi' around 600 people attended her funeral. They even carried out a 'shobha yatra' for her.
