Rajnath Singh to attend SAARC meet in Pakistan next month

Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting Pakistan to attend South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation’s (SAARC) interior and home ministers conference on August 3 and 4. Singh will have bilateral meetings with leaders from Pakistan and other countries. Amid the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, this will be the first visit by a senior leader to Pakistan post Pathankot attack, which took place on Jan 2. In the meeting, Rajnath Singh would raise the issue of cross-border terrorism.
