Gandhinagar: Buoyed by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's naming as BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate, his supporters have organised various programmes across the country to celebrate his 64th Birthday.

Modi himself started the day with a visit to his mother's house in Gandhinagar to seek her blessings. Speaking to reporters while leaving the place, the Chief Minister thanked his supporters and said that he will try his best to fulfil the expectations of the people.
